Founder and Executive Director, CCMP Music Programs
Carol Weaver is a master teacher with over 28 years of experience in the field of Music Education, Choral Direction and Theatre at both the elementary and middle school levels . Her performance groups and private students have received top honors in District Choirs and Competitions. She has served as director, assistant director, musical director/choreographer and choral director to several shows including Disney’s High School Musical, Mulan, Seussical the Musical and Josepha and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat! She is a graduate of Temple University where she studied flute, piano and voice with some of the most recognized music performance professionals, professors, and educators. Mrs. Weaver and her energetic staff are youth advocates, who have a fun and exceptional way of relating music, choral, and theatre excellence to students of all ages and backgrounds.

Laura Taylor is a graduate of DeSales University with a BA in Theatre, Acting and Directing. Her professional theatre experience spans both stage and film. As a performer she appeared in the critically acclaimed national tour of “The Little Mermaid”. Some of her stage credits include: Shakespeare & Company New York City Weekend Intensive, HMS Pinafore, A Christmas Carol, The Angels’ Share, Oklahoma, Antony and Cleopatra and many more.
She’s conducted musical theatre workshops for children and adults and is currently pursuing her education degree.
Sara Neville is an undergraduate at Penn State University’s Brandywine campus, pursuing a career in education, public outreach, and environmental sciences. Since discovering her passion for theater at the ripe age of five, Sara has participated in various community and school-related theatrical productions and choral groups. With a strong background in vocal performance and theater, Sara has channeled her creative passion into her job as assistant director for Great Valley Middle School’s annual spring musicals. As a member of the GVMS Musical creative team since 2006, Sara loves encouraging children to express themselves creatively through vocal and theater performance. Sara has helped with productions of High School Musical, Mulan, Seussical the Musical, and Joseph & the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, and has co-directed Grease, Peter Pan, Guys & Dolls, and the upcoming Spring 2012 GVMS production of Once on This Island.
Paige Seaton has been teaching in the field of Music Education at both the elementary and middle school levels for the past 6 years. She has worked for the Pittsburgh Opera Company Education Department and also worked with the Hempfield Area Marching Band. While teaching in the Great Valley School District, she has served as director to several shows including The Jungle Book Kids, Cinderella Kids and Alice In Wonderland Jr. She holds an undergraduate degree from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, Robert E. Cook Honors College, where she studied flute and also holds a Master of Music Education Degree with a concentration in Orff-Schulwerk from West Chester University.
Krista Armbruster is from Skippack, PA, where she began her dance education. She graduated from DeSales University with a B.A. in Dance. During her time at DeSales, she had the privilege of dancing for multiple professional dancers, such as Eddie Taketa from Doug Varone and Dancers. She choreographed several works both in the theatre and site specific on campus. Krista also was a dancer in West Side Story. Outside of DeSales, she attended the American Dance Festival, where she performed in pieces set by several prestigious choreographers from the New York and Philadelphia areas. Some of them include Doug Elkins and Keigwin and Company. Currently, Krista is the co-director of New Street Dance Group. Her work has been shown in Philly Fringe Festivals, the Inhale Series, and multiple self-produced shows at Touch Stone Theatre in Bethlehem, PA. Krista also performs with Vada Dance Collective. For the past five years Krista has taught at The Dance Centre in Skippack, PA. She teaches a wide variety of styles including Theatre Jazz. Some of the numbers she has set on her students have been from shows such as Bye Bye Birdie, Wicked, and West Side Story. Krista loves to share her passion for dance and love of the art with her students.
Marian Sunnergren has recently completed her MM in Voice Performance and Pedagogy at Westminster Choir College. Recent performance credits include Despina in Westminster’s production of Cosi Fan Tutte, Cigarette Girl in Carmen with Opera NJ, and Cunegonde cover/Ensemble member in Candide with The Arden Theater in Philadelphia. Marian holds a BM in Voice Performance and Music Education from Ithaca College where she was the Soprano Soloist in Handel’s Acis and Galatea, a finalist in the prestigious concerto competition, and leading roles in several Opera Workshop performances. Marian currently teaches private voice and piano lessons and sings with several local churches. She will be musically directing Great Valley Middle School’s upcoming production of Once on this Island, JR.
